Yousof Marhaba was born in Astara in 1950. He passed his childhood with a special happiness. He was successful during his education time. He did his everyday activities seriously and with the best result. He was very interested in books and book reading. He spent majority of his pocket money on buying books. He went to military service in 1975. Following lots of efforts, he could enter Mashad University in the course “Jurisprudence and Principles of Islamic Law”?. He increased his information in all scientific fields day by day. He joined Islamic committees after victory of Islamic Revolution. And later he started his activities formally in Sepah (The Army of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution). He was assigned as the operation commander of Sepah for a while; but these activities did not stop him from progress in education. Yousof wrote the precious book of “Koran in Islam”? at this period of time. It was published and distributed by “Martyr Foundation of Islamic Revolution”? in September 1982. Like other brave youth of Iran, he answered to Imam’s invitation after beginning of war. He went to battle fields and stayed there for six months. Then he returned to Astara and was assigned as the representative of Islamic Revolution Court in Astara. At this period of time, he worked on some unfinished books; but he couldn’t finish them. Some terrorists attacked him several time; but it only resulted in injury. He was finally shot dead by terrorists at 12:30 noon when he was coming back from the session of “Education Council”?. It was the time he was martyred.
